LjGDB is being developed as a part of our NSF-funded project
"PlantGDB - Plant Genome Database and Analysis Tools"
(PI: Volker Brendel).
The purpose of this resource is to provide a convenient sequence-centered genome view for Lotus japonicus, with a
narrow focus on gene structure annotation.
Our view of the Lotus japonicus genome is currently emerging (click here to view the latest Lotus japonicus sequence count).
LjGDB provides a scaled view of the Lotus japonicus gene space by continuously mapping the ESTs and PUTs onto Lotus japonicus genomic BACs.
As the genome gets assembled, contig and pseudochromosome views will become available, too.
Please let us know what you like and don't like about LjGDB.

Tutorials, underlying Data & Methods, and Download options.
The Noteworthy column on the right provides links to particular topics of interest and recent projects.
